Wild silhouettes, interesting structural design , the visual arts, master of form: describe the concept of Roberto Capucci's sculptures or couture? Roberto Capucci is not a household name in America, like Yves Saint Laurent, but was hailed as one of the two rising couture stars in the 1960's.
An, Exhibit coming to One of the largest museums in the U. S. will explore his fashion as art in the city of Philadelphia. The exhibit will feature over eighty of Capucci's works. Mr. Cuppucci's designs were worn by Gloria Swanson and Maryilyn Monroe and many ladies of the aristocratic Italian elite.( to see more, click the Links above) So, Can Fashion be considered Art ?
Although this is not the Philadelphia Exhibit, Watch and See his designs at a museum honoring his name.
